Coronavirus Emergency

Changes or special arrangements of Cathedral Activities

We will try to keep you up-to-date with the latest alterations and Special Services.  Advice has been handed down by the Church in Wales, and the Cathedral is adhering to this, modified where necessary by local circumstances.  Some Services can be watched online  –  see below for how to do that.

Services and Streaming

As from Tuesday March 17th there will be no Public Worship or Gatherings in the Cathedral, and the Cathedral must remain closed, in line with the Church-in-Wales guidance.

The Clergy will continue to say the Daily Office from their homes, where we pray they will remain safe and well. Sunday Eucharist will be streamed online at 10.30 am, so that you can watch and, hopefully, feel involved.  The arrangements for this depend on changing circumstances, which may alter from week to week.  Please read the Bishop’s Weekly Round-Up, which will give you a link for watching the Service, as well as other news along with encouragement and spiritual support in the absence of our accustomed worship activities.
